Like rings on a tree
life has left a mark on me.
I’ve been here before,
I know I gotta walk through the door.
Can’t waste our lives,
pretending to be free.
Every day is a gift

Everybody’s gone gone
just a little crazy,
and I know I might be
the leader of the pack.
But what are we to do
with all this mess,
while everyone is down down.
What are we to do about the rest
of 2020?

We’ve got a hole hole
burning in our soul souls,
we’ve got to find a way
we’re so divided
we don’t even know why
or where it started,
Ran out of words to say.....
But if we’re ever to be free,  
we got to learn to disagree.
